Veteran Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada heavy metal band KEN MODE has announced that it will release a new CD entitled “Venerable” on March 15, 2011. The album will be distributed by Profound Lore Records. The album was produced by Kurt Ballou (Converge) at God City Studios and mastered by Alan Douches. The band is planning to tour well into the summer.
Check out an audio stream for one of the new songs on the new album. I think it sounds awesome! It has elements of hardcore, but it also has more introspective melodic metal near the end.

Ken Mode is a Noise Rock band formed by brothers Jesse and Shane Matthewson in 1999. The band has toured extensively with bands such as Burnt by the Sun and Mastodon. The band also played on the Exclaim Magazine Aggressive Tendencies Tour in 2006.
